CLUB KAIJU (MG)
In the middle of the Pacific Ocean, somewhere in a former nuclear testing zone, sits a tropical island. An island once famous for a five-star vacation resort that's long-since condemned, but not uninhabited. Because the resort is now home to gentle kaiju monsters as well as three dozen kids who never grow old, and a 12' tall caretaker named Viktor.
Whenever a Kaiju egg washes ashore, the hatching baby monster pair-bonds with one of the children for life.
This is the way things have been for decades. But not for a boy named Gully. Gully has been waiting longer than most. So when his egg finally washes ashore, you can imagine his relief.
When his hatched kaiju turns out to be a normal-sized 12-year old girl he names Timber, it's love at first sight. Gully swears to protect Timber at all costs, a promise that becomes impossible to keep, considering Timber grows a foot a day with no slow-down in sight.
When her extreme growth becomes a danger to everyone on the island, kaiju and human alike, Timber decides to self-exile through the narrow needle-eye cliff passage to the other side of the island. To the place where the old monsters dwell. Once there, she'll soon grow too big to ever squeeze through the passage again.
Will Gully leave behind everything he knows to accompany the girl he loves? Or will Timber choose to stay when a much bigger threat emerges from the sea. A threat set on a direct course for San Francisco. A threat only Timber can stop.
An action-packed book full of heart and humor in the vein of The Last Kids on Earth and Percy Jackson.
THE WINTER BEES (MG)
Twelve-year old city-boy, Wade Hart, is sick. He has the dreaded C, and the prognosis isn't good.
Wade wants to spend what may very well be his very last summer tinkering with the engine kit he's assembling in the garage with his dad. But his parents have other plans for him. They're sending him to Bee Well in the Blue Ridge Mountains, an apiculture camp for ill kids. A place where campers can learn beekeeping, receive round-the-clock therapy, and process a storm of emotions.
At first, Wade wants nothing to do with the camp or its aging owners, the Peebles. And he especially wants nothing to do with bees. But he quickly changes his mind after meeting the Peebles' granddaughter, Story, his first crush and the girl who teaches him all about natures smallest engineers.
When Wade hears the tale of a miraculous, green honey with curative properties located somewhere in a nearby forest and guarded by the mythical creature Boojum, he has to decide just how far he's willing to go to save a dying friend.
In the lifecycle of the colony, specialized diutinus bees have one job and one job only: huddle together, brave the cold, and survive the year's harshest season.
The winter bees is a contemporary novel, Holes meets Wonder.
HAPPILY EVER AFTERMATH (MG, Co-authored by Tami Stronach, star of The Neverending Story)
Co-authored by fantasy film icon Tami Stronach, the actress who played the Childlike Empress in the movie version of The Neverending Story and starred in the 2025 film, Man and Witch, Happily Ever Aftermath is a modern twist on 80's-styled films such as Legend, Labyrinth, and Ladyhawke.
Born of a Princess from a far-off magical kingdom and a brilliant human dad, the Father siblings were exiled from their birth-world by their grandfather, the evil king for reasons unexplained.
Under the tutelage of Father Father, the children spent their whole lives training in the art of burglary, preparing for the day they'll be skilled enough to infiltrate the magical defenses separating them from home, and rescue their imprisoned mother, reuniting their family, once and for all.
Most of the siblings' training involves stealing powerful artifacts from other fantasy worlds, like Wonderland, Neverland, and the far-off land of Oz. Weapons they can use against their grandfather's bizarre soldiers and minions: Ruby slippers, shrinking potions, magical swords, a golden fleece, and even the Sunboat of the Egyptian God Ra.
But what will the Fathers do when they discover that the greatest obstacle to their plan is a betrayal from within?
Happily Ever Aftermath is an epic fantasy heist that takes place across multiple IP worlds, all of which are in the public domain.
Enchanted meets Artemis Fowl.
